TRUSculpt 3D EXPERIENCE
Hello! My name is Jennifer Plaza, I have been Dr. Matthews Office Manager since 2009. I personally had never tried Trusculpt 3D and I was curious. I have done Hydrafacial, Chemical Peel IPL, Laser hair removal, Ultherapy and had my lips done once with Kysse.
So I was curious about the results. I decided to do it, so I could personally experience it and be able to give a firsthand account of my experience.
I was nervous about the possibility of discomfort. I was wondering if it would also tighten the area or just reduce the fat.
So I scheduled the procedure with Kellie RN, our expert Nurse. It was the week of Thanksgiving, November 22, 2022.
I am 46 years old, I have had one child naturally (that was 23 years ago). Over the last couple of years I have lost about 50 pounds. I walk my dog every day, I try to eat right and exercise. I have this little squishy marshmallow pouch on my tummy that just wouldn’t go away. I was not a candidate for a tummy tuck.
I am 5’7”
My waist was 31.5”
My hips were 39”
I was 174 pounds at the time. My waist circumference was 31.5 and my BMI was 27.5 (which is overweight for my height)
I agonized if I should take the prescription pain medication. Just because you have to have a driver afterward and my schedule is so crazy I just can’t fit the downtime into my day.
After speaking with others who have had the procedure and the Nurse, I decided to just take 400 milligram’s of Advil an hour before my procedure.
I had 4 sites of TruSculpt of my abdomen, She did two sites on my upper abdomen and two sites on my lower. So basically a square of 4. Each site takes 15 minutes.
She took pictures and applied a grounding pad to my back. She prepped the area with a thick jelly. The first site was a breeze. It did help that I was laughing and joking with Kellie. It made the time fly by. After the first site, I was happy with my no meds dec ision. The second site was also easy, (feels like a hot stone massage to me). I did tell Kellie, this is getting a little hot. She said you have 45 seconds left. So I rode it out and it does not stay hot after she stops. The third site was as easy as the first. The last site got hot at the end. I have one minute and 15 seconds left. I powered through it and I was done. Just like that. Only an hour! Kellie made sure to remind me to drink a lot of water and take it easy. I was not sore. I did wear comfortable not constricting clothing. The area was sensitive for about 1 day afterward.
I just want you to know that I did this through Thanksgiving and Christmas. I did not restrict my eating at all.
In December I took my measurements again: On Dec 15th I weighed more haha I was 175.9 however my waist and hips were smaller.
My waist was 30 now! 1.5” in a month seemed unbelievable! My hips were smaller too 38’ 1 whole inch smaller! It takes a full 12 weeks for full results because the energy starts from the bottom of your fat and works it’s way up. You expel the fat through urination.
On January 11th of 2023 I took my measurements again:
My weight was 164.5 so roughly 10 pounds lighter (even after eating tamales for Christmas)!
My waist is now 29” -So 2.5 inches lost in 12 weeks! My hips are smaller now 37”-So a reduction of 2 inches lost!
My BMI is now 25.5
